SUMMARY:

Our client, an accounting, and business consulting firm based in Welgemoed, seeks to appoint a suitably qualified Junior Accountant

This role will be reporting directly to the owner and will offer great exposure to a highly accurate and focused individual.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Contribute to the management of a portfolio of clients in respect of accounting work
Bookkeeping to Trial Balance
Reconciliations
Perform general accounting functions
Processing of data
General administration

QUALIFICATION AND EXPERIENCE:

Matric certificate
A Bookkeeping / Accounting Diploma or
Compt Accounting or equivalent part-time studies
3 - 5 years comparable experience (experience within an accounting firm will be highly advantageous)

REQUIREMENTS:

Strong accuracy, detail focus and administrative abilities
Ability to use MS Word, Excel and spreadsheets
Sound oral and written communication skills in Afrikaans and English
Ability to accurately use Accounting software
South African Citizen
Own transport
