SUMMARY:
Our client is seeking JSE Settlement Officer that will facilitate all fixed income settlements and cash flow management according to the JSE rules and regulations to ensure that all transactions are settled in terms of the Rules and Directives.
POSITION INFO:
Ensure efficient booking of Bond Trades on Nutron
Ensure all Bond settlements run smoothly
Be able to process entries on BDA
Liaise with counterarties in relation to all daily settlements
Determine daily liquidity requirements for the Treasury dealers
Ensure accurate maintenance of all records and documentation as per JSE requirements
Identify and assess the risks, which could prevent the objectives of your role
Assist with administration and efficient middle office operations
Assist Dealing Team with daily tasks
Skills & Experience:
Minimum 1 years'' BDA experience and be proficient in Word and Excel
Deal Allocations, deal adjustments, account loading
Uploading of allocations into BDA and matching of trades
Daily brokerage schedule
Client mandates and FICA documentation
Corporate Actions
Futures Settlements
Bond and Equity settlements
Dealing with client queries and requests
Issuing the necessary instructions for the transfer/receipt/dematerialisation of client holdings
Qualifications:
Registered Persons Examinations (SAIFM)
Regulation and Ethics of the South African Financial Markets;
Introduction to the Financial Markets;
The Derivatives Market.
