JP 15065 - Quality Assurance and Procurement Manager-Cape Town

My client prides themselves on creating high-quality, food products.  They are looking for a gem of a candidate who is able to work with Food Safety, QA and Procurement.

Quality Assurance and Food Safety:

• Implement and maintain the Food Safety Management System
• Conduct validation of Operational Prerequisite Programs, Critical Control Points, allergen management, and cleaning programs.
• Coordinate and lead audits (internal, external, and customer), investigate food safety complaints, and drive effective corrective/preventive actions.
• Deliver and manage food safety training programs, ensuring staff are up to date and proficient.

Procurement:

• Manage procurement processes to ensure timely and cost-effective sourcing of ingredients and supplies.
• Build and maintain strong supplier relationships, fostering long-term partnerships.
• Source high-quality products at optimal prices while maintaining consistent supply to meet production needs.
• Negotiate prices with suppliers to maximise value for the organisation.
