SUMMARY:
Recruiting for a qualified and experienced Supply Chain Analyst who has a degree with 2 - 3 year relevant experience in Supply Chain (Retail or FMCG or Consulting to these industries)

POSITION INFO:

JNR SUPPLY CHAIN ANALYST (RETAIL) – EE ONLY
Market Related Salary Package (2 to 3 years exp level)
Cape Town, Western Cape

We are recruiting for an experienced and qualified JNR SUPPLY CHAIN ANALYST with 2 - 3 year relevant experience in supply chain.

Qualifications and Experience:

• BEng (Industrial) or similar degree – Supply Chain / Logistics (essential requirement)
• 1-3 years’ relevant industry experience (this is not a senior level role)
• Knowledge and ability - Basic SQL queries (essential requirement)
• Competency in SC modelling, Analytics, and associated tools
• Keen interest in data analytics with the ability to analyse and apply data/information within the appropriate context
• Analytical Software BI, Tableau, Qlik (big advantage)
• Competency in MS Office packages and other database software

Your responsibilities will include:

• Providing high quality data and process analysis to the Supply Chain Operations team to identify problematic areas and suggest improvements.
• Create processes and methods to gather supply chain data.
• Evaluate vendor operations (e.g., suppliers, sellers, and couriers) to track KPIs and report on their performance.
• Collaborate with SC Operations/IT partners to design/implement effective systems/data bases/scorecards to improve supplier/seller/courier performance measurement.
• Develop and maintain master data files for suppliers/sellers to support performance measurement, tracking and analytics.
• Developing and improving supplier/seller SC manuals and related specifications.
• Operational root cause analysis with associated solution formulation.
• Set requirements and expectations.
• Finding new and innovative solutions to improve SC Operations using data, value stream mapping and other engineering tools.
