•Post Matric IT related qualification.
•Previous IT Management experience a necessity.
•Minimum 5 years in IT networked environment with corporate experience and appropriate development programmes completed.
•Knowledge of Systems, software, hardware and networking essential.
•Familiar with ITIL practices with CobiT experience being an advantage.
•Strong customer focus essential.
•Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
•Strong project management skills.
•To ensure effective IT Operations by managing the regulatory compliance; IT Standards; service delivery; projects; incidents; software releases; software patches; capacity; availability; business continuity compliance; configuration; change; security and specifically concerning the company’s gaming systems;
•Manage risk within the IT division.
•Effective staff management through recruitment, employee relations, performance management and training of all IT personnel.
•Manage IT OPEX and CAPEX budgets
•Manage employment equity, skills development and procurement.
•Take overall responsibility and accountability for all IT matters at establishment
•Stand-in for the Group IT Manager and/or Group IT Executive as and when required
