SUMMARY:
Our client is a multinational customer clearing, freight forwarding and ships agency with offices in Cape Town, Durban, Johannesburg, Port Elizabeth and Walvis Bay.

POSITION INFO:

They are looking for an INVOICING CLERK to join their Cape Town team for a 3 month contract.

Do you show initiative and ensure work is up to date? Do you work accurately and pay attention to detail even when under pressure?

EMPLOYMENT TYPE: PERMANENT

SECTOR: Services

START DATE: IMMEDIATE / A.S.A.P

DUTIES:

• Prepare pro formas for pre-payments

• Invoicing foreign clients

• Recon W.I.P.

• Compile supplier invoices

• Complete monthly GL recons

• Back up to Financial Manager (cashbook, debtors and creditors)

• Ad-hoc duties

REQUIREMENT

• Matric

• Tertiary qualification is advantages

• Thorough understanding of accounting

• Exposure to General Ledger Recons

• Good communication skills

• Sound knowledge of Excel (intermediate)

• 3 years+ experience in accounts /invoicing
