SUMMARY:
Invoicing Clerk

POSITION INFO:

Responsibilities:
• Debtors:
- Deadline-driven customer invoicing
- Checking orders, stock sheets & liaising with relevant departments
• Creditors:
- Checking, capturing & cross referencing of invoices, remittances, VAT etc. on Pastel & Excel
- Checking of charges, preparing payments, reconciling ledger, remittances
- Following up on queries and liaising with creditors
• Assist with the stock take and stock take figures
• Handling of petty cash
• Ad hoc reporting & functions as requested from management

Skills and Experience:
• Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy
• The ability to work under pressure & meet tight deadlines
• Strong Excel understanding & experience
• Brief knowledge on air & sea freight and custom duty principles, calculations & processes
• Highly numerate
• Accountable and proactive

Minimum Requirements
• Relevant Tertiary Education
• Min. of 3 Years Bookkeeping / Invoicing Experience
• PASTEL experience essential
• Experience in an Import environment would be beneficial
