SUMMARY:
A national leader focused on risk finance is seeking a charismatic Investment Officer to join their specialist team. The Investment Officer will report directly to the area manager and will be responsible for identifying business opportunities and securing investments that promote the financial interests of the organization.

Minimum Requirements:

BCom Accounting/ Finance Degree essential
2 or more years of experience in business investment/business investment structuring
Experience in auditing, banking and/or sales and marketing will be advantageous
Ability to build and maintain relationships
Strong negotiation skills
Results driven in order to meet client expectations
Analyzing information

Key Performance Areas (Responsibilities):

The Investment Officer’s duties shall include, but not be limited to:

Marketing the company and building networks
Undertaking viability studies on targeted companies
Doing financial modelling and compiling the investment report
Negotiating and structuring investment projects on the targeted entities
