Investment Analyst

SUMMARY:
Our client is looking for a Fund Research Analyst to join theirteam in South Africa. The ideal candidate should have at least 5 years of experience in multi-manager portfolios and be responsible for co-managing various multi-manager portfolios spanning across both retail and institutional ranges.

POSITION INFO:

Responsibilities:

Research and analyse existing and potential investments and investment opportunities.

Monitor and report on the performance of multi-manager portfolios.

Develop and manage asset allocation models.

Develop and maintain portfolio risk management systems.

Analyse and assess the economic environment and its impact on the portfolio.

Monitor the investment performance of the portfolios.

Prepare detailed reports on portfolio performance and recommendations for changes.

Develop and implement strategies for the portfolio.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, Business, or a related field, plus a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) or Chartered Investment Performance Measurement (CIPM) certification

MS Excel – Advanced (VBA programming would be an advantage)
