An investment fund based in Johannesburg is looking for an operations and administration candidate who will be responsible for assisting in the daily reconciliation and accurate reporting of our Hedge Fund and Unit Trust portfolios. Should you meet the minimum requirements, Apply Today!

POSITION INFO:

Qualifications:

Matric
BCom Investment Management

Skills:

Strong administrative and operational skills;
Knowledge of the operations of the fund management industry and trade life cycle;
Experience in Asset Management portfolio administration and pricing will be an advantage;
Experience with investment products (including Unit Trusts and Hedge Funds) will be an advantage;
Excellent communication skills (both written and verbal

Job description:

Reconciliation of portfolios between internal system and Prime Broker or Administrator.
Ensuring the accurate calculation of Fund valuations, including NAV;
Book trades on CITI Bank system.
Capture Cash Inflows and Outflows on trading system.
Weekly Margin Balance updates.
Daily cash update for portfolio managers.
Resolving trade queries with Brokers.
Assist Clients with ad hoc queries.
Assist Portfolio Managers with arranging client meetings.
Timeous & accurate actioning of ad hoc tasks assigned by Management.
Taking on additional responsibilities & making a positive contribution
