Inventory Supervisor (Warehouse)

POSITION INFO:

Our client based in Humansdorp is looking for an experienced Inventory Supervisor (Warehouse)

Key Performance Areas: 

• The incumbent will be responsible for an Inventory team with the achievement of the daily, weekly, and monthly deadlines.
• Ensuring all relevant stock movements and controls are done correctly, accurately and according to procedure.
• Proper record keeping of all inventory related issues, ensuring proper stock movement controls, and updating work instructions will be key.
• This person will be responsible for stock counts, housekeeping and assisting clerks to follow up on stock discrepancies on all stock transferred from production and sold to customers, using Navision.

Knowledge and Skills:

• The successful candidate will have matric, a logistics or inventory management qualification & previous supervisory experience in a dairy or FMCG environment.
• The incumbent must be qualified to facilitate good administrative and operational practices.
• He/she must be computer literate and have knowledge of Navision.
• The candidate must be motivated, energetic and pay attention to detail.
• The incumbent must have a valid driver’s license.
