Inventory Controller / Stock Analysis

SUMMARY:
The positions core function is to maintain the company inventory, replenishing items according to business needs and implementing purchases and transfers where necessary. The role will assist as directed, the business inventory, preparing and completing warehouse orders for pickup and delivery according to production schedules.

POSITION INFO:

The aim is to complete the daily activities of receiving and processing warehouse stock, performing inventory controls, replenishing materials as needed and having all inventory production ready.

Key Responsibilities

• Ensure key inventory reports are produced daily and analysed
• Routinely conduct cycle counts
• Create and maintain product assemblies within the inventory software
• Investigate all discrepancies and issues within pre-determined time frames
• Implement, maintain and routinely conduct Low Code reports
• Perform regular stock adjustments
• Maintain excellent standards of recording and filing all reports, stock adjustments, cycle count sheets, claims/resolutions, out of stock information
• Ensure that stock receipting accuracy is maintained to the highest level
• Process customer orders, enquires and following up on any issues
• Stocktake preparation
• Strong analytical skills and superior attention to detail
• Great communication and interpersonal skills
• Superior time management skills with the ability to manage work schedules unsupervised
• Strong understanding of OH&S
• Certificate in Warehousing or similar an advantage

• Food manufacturing knowledge advantageous
• Experience in Warehousing/ Stock Control
• Purchase order raising experience
• Supplier ordering and receipting experience
• Systematic approach to processes and business operations
• Ability to work with little supervision and track multiple processes
• Experience with computer inventory software & sound knowledge of Microsoft Suite
