Inventory Assistant

SUMMARY:
This global logistics concern currently seeks an Inventory Assistant, who has experience in Inventory (preferably finance administration).

POSITION INFO:

Minimum Job Requirements:

• Matric
• Minimum 3 years’ experience in Inventory management.
• Advanced Excel is preferred.
• Business Central knowledge is advantageous.
• Experience and knowledge on any ERP system (SAP knowledge is advantageous).

Overall Role Objectives:

Advanced Billing:

• Capture advanced billing invoices, matched to Commercial PO''s, Commercial invoices.

Process IBT’s (Inter Branch Transfers):

• Put away lines are uploaded daily.
• Ensure assembly orders are processed for Bulk and Bag stock.
• Ensure correct costs are allocated to the assembly orders.

Assign Item Charges to Purchase Orders:

• Ensure the correct costs are allocated to the Item Charge purchase orders.
• Track orders and investigate and report any discrepancies.
• Maintain database and record purchases.

General:

• Understand the concept of Data Traceability and the processing of information from one system to another.
• Ensure compliance with all Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and company policies when processing information.
