Internal Sales - Technical

SUMMARY:
A vibrating equipment company seeks the assistance of a technical Internal Sales consultant. A technically minded individual is required and the successful applicant must have a technical qualification.

• Matric
• Technical qualification e.g. Mechanical or Electrical or Mining or Metallurgical.

Requirements

• A minimum of 3- 5 years in a similar role.  

Duties

• Secure After Sales Income by identifying and securing:
• That the customer has sufficient on-site emergency stock at all times
• Provide customer with company equipment and service information
• Provide regular customer re-assurance and ensure customers are fully satisfied with Company’s equipment, service and capability
• Provide customer with immediate on-site problem solving and solutions where possible, or direct them to the correct persons.
• Keep regular contact and build mutual trust and respect with customers, understand and attend to customer needs
• Communicate needs to company sales and service departments
• Anticipate customer needs
• Client Relationship Management
• Provide customer with company equipment and service information
• Provide regular customer re-assurance and ensure customers are fully satisfied with Company’s equipment, service and capability
• Provide customer with immediate on-site problem solving and solutions

• Communicate needs to company sales and service departments

• Warranties Management
• Liaise with finance department in the opening and closing of warrantee claims and ensure accuracy of cost allocation
• Investigation of claim and submission of a report detailing the findings of the investigation, including a root cause analysis and recommendations for conclusion of the claim.
• Ensure timeous conclusion of warrantee claims
• Technical equipment performance - liaise with company’s Service and Technical department
• Manage sales process for new machines and for spare parts.
• Ensure customers are accurately and timeously quoted for new machines and spare parts
• Ensure orders are received for new machines and spare parts
• Manage the status of customer orders and delivery dates– liaise with company’s Supply Chain department relating to manufactured parts
• Handling of each sale in its entirety as a mini project, take responsibility for each project and handle customer communications
