SUMMARY:
Our client is seeking to employ a Sales Representative to join their dynamic and powerful team.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Required Qualifications / Experience

Excellent communication skills
Valid driver’s licence
Minimum of grade 12 with a tertiary qualification
Technical sales experience and the ability to interact on all levels
Advanced computer literacy
Self-motivated, self-disciplined and capable of effective time management
Knowledge of engineering drawings
Ability to calculate cut to size parts
Ability to quote clients on VRN’s various products and services

The following Key Performance Areas are covered by the position:

Market the full range of VRN products including stainless, aluminium and carbon steel
Consistently meet sales targets, report back on market information and act as a team with internal sales in servicing a designated area
Compilation of weekly call reports based on call plan.
Maintenance of existing and building new relationships with customers
Cold calling and securing new business.
Link the various departments in the value chain to meet the project requirements of the customers - Negotiate at a senior level with customers
