SUMMARY:
Our client is seeking to employ a Sales Representative to join their dynamic and powerful team.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Required Qualifications / Experience
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Valid driver’s licence
  • Minimum of grade 12 with a tertiary qualification
  • Technical sales experience and the ability to interact on all levels
  • Advanced computer literacy
  • Self-motivated, self-disciplined and capable of effective time management
  • Knowledge of engineering drawings
  • Ability to calculate cut to size parts
  • Ability to quote clients on VRN’s various products and services
 
The following Key Performance Areas are covered by the position:
  • Market the full range of VRN products including stainless, aluminium and carbon steel
  • Consistently meet sales targets, report back on market information and act as a team with internal sales in servicing a designated area
  • Compilation of weekly call reports based on call plan.
  • Maintenance of existing and building new relationships with customers
  • Cold calling and securing new business.
  • Link the various departments in the value chain to meet the project requirements of the customers - Negotiate at a senior level with customers
