Internal Sales Representative – Chemistry / Life Science

SUMMARY:
Assist external sales reps with quotes, order processing and invoicing as well as assisting phone in clients and contacting existing clients

POSITION INFO:

Duties:

• Typing of all quotes, incoming via email / phone and Sales Staff. 
• Attend to telephone calls, requests, enquiries and provide general information.
• Updating supplier price lists on a regular basis and maintaining supplier files in a neat and orderly manner.
• Maintain and ensure efficient documentation and filing of all export correspondence and documents.
• Correspond with clients in African countries.
• Ensuring that no stock is moved without relevant paper work
• Assist with the arrangement and coordination of logistics
• Perform other duties as assigned by the Manager.

Qualifications and requirements:

• Degree/Diploma in Chemistry, Life Science or its equivalent in related discipline.
• Previous experience would be beneficial
• Very good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to multitask and work effectively under pressure.
• Good organisational skills.
• Good report writing skills.
• Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office Tools.
• Ability to prioritise work
• Good attention to detail
• Customer service orientation.
• High level of integrity
• Positions available in Gauteng and Western Cape
