Internal Sales Rep - Steel

POSITION INFO:

INTERNAL SALES

Location: East Rand

REPORTING to National Sales Manager

DEFINITION OF MAIN FUNCTIONS

The main functions are the following:-

All internal sales activities linked to sales orders, quotations and enquiries for all tool steel and steel customers.

Inside sales will manage the customer relationships for all “C” and “D” customers not managed by Outside sales.

Inside sales will work on dedicated promotion activities defined by the Sales Manager.

All other instructions/duties within reason, as requested by the Sales Manager.

All duties not explicitly stated but implicit towards the daily operations in the sales office.

Assist as and when needed with the annual stock take.

The roll requires the fulfillment of the KPI targets given by the National Sales Manager.

REQUIREMENTS:

Minimum Diploma in Marketing & Sales Management

Min. 2 years in sales, preferably in the steel industry

Target driven.

Good communication skills and appearance.

Self-motivated and disciplined.

Good administration skills and accuracy.

Must be team orientated and accepted by the team.

Good work attitude, loyalty and willing to succeed.

Ability to plan and schedule.

Understanding of accounting principles.

Good telephone skills.

Fluent English mandatory and Afrikaans an advantage.

SAP and CRM experience would be beneficial.

CTC R20,000 – R25,000CTC + monthly commission
