Internal Sales Executive (Fasteners Experience)

Boksburg, Johannesburg  

R 8000 basic salary + R4 400 Travel Allowance + R600 Cell Allowance

The largest independent distributor of fasteners in South Africa is seeking an experienced Fasteners Internal Sales Executive to join their team. The candidate will be the primary support resource for customers, partners, and the external sales team. You will be responsible for working collaboratively with the external sales team as a technical advisor and product advocate.

Qualifications

• Matric Certification
• Own reliable transport and valid driver licence
• Successful experience in a similar industry role.
• 3–5 Years’ experience in Engineering/Fastener Sales.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office
• Read and understand, mechanical and electrical blueprints.
• Working understanding of network communications technology – Internet, as well as Microsoft Word and Excel.
• Strong communication, interpersonal and organizational skills.

Duties

• Assist sales team in executing and achieving their territory and market business plans.
• Resolve internal and external technical support requests or issues related to product selection, application, specification, installation, etc...
• Prepare basic quotations, review specifications; assist with and develop new customers.
• Commercial processes for quotation, receipt of order, order entry, shipment and delivery of order, and resolution of return requests and quality issues
• Extensive interaction with customers, partners and team via phone and email and other electronic media.
• Maintain expert level of product knowledge and application.
• Listen, understand, and convey customer requirements.
• Resolve customer issues or difficulties in a manner that is consistent with the company mission, values, and financial objectives.
• Maintain professional business relationships with targets and or assigned accounts.
• Provide status of ongoing contracts/projects and future projects.
• Identify and communicate customer''s needs and sales opportunities to help future growth.
