SUMMARY:
Internal Sales – R25k/month – Permanent – Westville, Durban – Immediate Start - BEE Female

POSITION INFO:

Our client, a leading distributor in the paper and packaging industry is looking for a well-spoken individual to join their team.  Candidates will need to be “sales focused” and support the driving of future sales through responsibly managing the supply chain, orders, trials, and claims for each allocated customer.

Duties and responsibilities (include but are not limited to):

Develop and maintain relationships with customers and suppliers

Process incoming orders, shipping and import documentation, monitoring shipments

Preparation of updated customer order details. (some weekly, others bi-weekly, customer dependent)

Assist and actively contribute to customer projects as required (i.e. new product launch, re-labelling)

Attend meetings with customers and suppliers

Monthly customer store visits

Provide weekly Stock on Hand, Ageing stock report to customer

Maintain Pricing, SKU and important email correspondence etc.

Monitoring of service/audit contracts to check for next available service.

Provide feedback to the accounts payable and receivable teams on the status of agreed payment or invoicing milestones per contract.

Follow up on outstanding payment issues related to any paperwork admin, working hand in hand with the accounts receivable team

Provide administrative and technical support.

Manage Forecasting, inventory, Consignments stock, stock replenishments, product and service offerings, customer’s requests, deadlines, feedback from internal customers

Produce a sales report for each customer for the sales manager if and when required.

Power BI resource and sharing this skill with fellow team members.

Maintenance of sales files, tidy up, identify past opportunities and if there is future opportunity.

The analysis of past sales, the understanding of pricing, product range, volume and application.

Monitoring of sales volumes, delivery performance and allocation achievement.

Qualification

3 – 5 years’ experience in similar role

Valid Driver’s licence

Power BI, Excel, Word
