SUMMARY:
A Very successful financial services entity is looking for a Junior Internal Auditor within the Risk & Compliance space to join their team

POSITION INFO:

Qualifications

BCom Degree or National Diploma
Skill in applying internal auditing principles and practices
Knowledge of BBBEE and SANAS requirement will be beneficial

Experience:

Plan, manage, and conduct internal audit quarterly with the objective of improving the effectiveness of internal controls, efficiency, and compliance of Company operations in accordance with SANAS R47.
Identify weakness, non-compliance and risks in management systems
Assist the company with compliance / legal queries in consultations with experts
Maintain Management Systems
Document Controller
Establishing action plans to remediate weaknesses and risks on a sustainable basis.
Preparation and presentation of monthly internal audit findings and recommendations to management
Perform monthly BBBEE vertical assessments on verification files
Preparation and Schedule SANAS accreditation visits
Strategy Monitoring and Implementation
Assist on various projects
Ensure compliance and maintain Competency Files in accordance with policies
Co-ordinate and maintain Training Records and schedule
Responsible for Fraudulent Certificate procedures
Engage with Sector Codes Councils and submit required documentation monthly
Project administration, filing and documentation of project related work
