SUMMARY:
Dynamic agricultural business seeks Internal Auditor based in Midrand, but willing to travel South Africa and Cross Border.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Qualification
  • BCom Financial Degree
Requirements
  • Minimum 3 years' experience in food/agricultural industry
  • Knowledge and skill in applying internal auditing and accounting principles and practices
  • Must have drivers license and own reliable transport
  • Keeping abreast of legislation changes
Duties
  • Completion of system description with regards to audit processes
  • Understands control objectives and frameworks.
  • Understands the concept of internal controls.
  • Understands systems and processes within organisations.
  • Drafting audit programmes
  • Perform tests on current controls.
  • Collect and analyse data to detect deficient controls and/or control weaknesses.
  • Request all necessary documentation that can be used as evidence in testing.
  • Drafting formal and informal queries and submit to person responsible and discuss findings of the audit.
  • Identify, develop, and document audit issues and recommendations.
  • Discusses implementation dates of recommendations with the  client.
