JOB DESCRIPTION:

Deloitte, in partnership with a client based in Johannesburg, is recruiting for an Internal Auditor to join their team.

Job Description:

  • Audit all Learner/Company files in line with audit process
  • Prepare for verifications
  • Note audit anomalies
  • Resolve all queries to achieve the successful endorsement and the relevant SETA SOR release
  • Support all internal auditors on moderation preparations
  • Manage internal auditors to ensure delivery scheduled is adhered to
  • Assist in resolving audit queries with relevant departments
  • Report on audit findings from external moderations and ensure all recommendations are implemented by respective departments within the specified time period

Job Requirements:

  • Proven work experience as Internal Auditor or Senior Auditor
  • Advanced computer skills on MS Office, accounting software and databases
  • Ability to manipulate large amounts of data and to compile detailed reports
  • Proven knowledge of auditing standards and procedures, laws, rules and regulations
  • High attention to detail and excellent analytical skills

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • 2 to 3 years’ experience
  • BS Degree in Accounting or Finance
  • Grade 12 / Matric
