Internal Agency Manager

SUMMARY:

Our client, an established mortgage origination company based in Durban is seeking an experienced Internal Agency Manager to lead and manage the company's inhouse Advertising Agency.

POSITION INFO:

Key purpose:

The Internal Agency Manager will lead and manage the new company Inhouse Advertising Agency, facilitating the development and production of advertising campaigns and marketing materials which are required by various departments in the company. Reporting directly to the Senior Manager: Marketing, this person will support the development and implementation of the marketing strategy, national communication plans and roll out of advertising campaigns nationally, and for the sales branches. 

Key Responsibilities:

• Participate in brand planning sessions to scope studio workflow
• Co-ordinate incoming briefs and allocate to internal designers, freelancers and external partner agencies
• Prioritise incoming jobs in terms of importance and delivery deadlines.
• Manage outsourced freelancers time and output, allocate hours to jobs for reporting.
• Manage internal designers and DTP operators time and output
• Ensure key milestones and key deliverables are clear with all partners regarding budgets, briefs and expectations.
• Ensure that jobs are completed to deadlines and ensure quality checks.
• Co-ordinate, monitor and track key ATL projects
• Set up monthly status / collaboration meetings with partners including clear objectives
• Become a conduit between all agency resources to ensure co-ordination and maximisation of agency and freelance network.
• Be the point of contact for agencies / partners in terms of raising key issues or unblocking hurdles
• Build and maintain a reservoir of freelance and agency portfolios that are suited for the required tasks to ensure consistent delivery and creativity
• Ensure that that the in-house agency and external parties are fully embedded within the company and integrate the company values and culture.
