SUMMARY:
An Education and Training Institution is looking for an Intermediate Software Developer (web) to provide innovative software solutions. They are looking for a self-motivated, proactive problem solver who is keen to learn.

POSITION INFO:

Job Purpose

The successful candidate will be involved in building new system features, investigating, and solving system issues, and system integrations.

Qualification & Experience

Bachelor’s Degree/Diploma/Technical Certification
Must have solid experience with the following technologies: C#.NET; MVC; ASP.NET; Angular, Vue.js, or React; Postgres; MSSQL; JavaScript; HTML/CSS; Git; RESTful Web Services
Any familiarity with mobile development platforms will be advantageous, i.e., Android, iOS, Flutter, etc.
Customer service-oriented attitude
Four (4) or more years of relevant experience
Must be fluent in English
Must be able to prioritise and meet deadlines
Excellent organisational skills

Key Responsibilities

Deliver software for projects on time and within scope
Interpret requirements into robust technical solutions
Communicate obstacles or issues pro-actively to relevant stakeholders
Collaborate on overall technical solution design
Communicate and demonstrate progress throughout every project phase
Write clear, concise, well-documented code
Actively engage in discussions with senior team members regarding architecture decisions and technical solutions
Effectively communicate and collaborate with test analysts and business analysts to provide timely feedback and resolutions to production issues, or issues related to features
Keep up to date with technology trends and how they can benefit the Company’s software landscape
Identify areas for system and code improvements, consult senior team members on implementation thereof
