Intermediate to Senior site based Quantity Surveyor required to be site based in the Randburg, Olivedale, Fourways and Northriding areas of Gauteng

POSITION INFO:

Intermediate to Senior site based Quantity Surveyor required to be site based in the Randburg, Olivedale, Fourways and Northriding areas of Gauteng

· B.Tech / B.Sc or National Higher Diploma required
· CCS / Candy experience essential
· Must have at least 8 to 12 years experience as Senior Site Based QS
This position reports to a Contracts Manager based on site and as Senior QS you shall have a Junior QS to manage and assist you.

Skills required include

Developing budgets
Negotiating with and appointment of subcontractors
Performing risk, value management and cost control
Preparing, reviewing and negotiating variations
Submission of monthly valuations
Compiling subcontractor payments
Cost reporting
Final accounts
Mentoring of site based Junior Quantity Surveyors
