Facilitate project conception with decision makers, systems owners, and end users to define business

POSITION INFO:

Academic qualifications  

Essential:  

• Degree in Computer Science / Information Systems  

Advantageous: 

• Certificate / Diploma in Business Analysis • Post graduate degree 

Work experience 

Essential: 

• 3 – 5 years as a Business Analyst • Experience in assessing the benefits of potential changes to business processes • Experience in facilitating analysis workshops and presentations • Experience in interacting and communicating with internal and external customers 

Advantageous: 

• Experience in working with DevSecOps squads 

Knowledge

Essential: 

• In-depth knowledge of a range of analysis, modelling and design methods • Broad knowledge of IT standards, applications and trends • Good understanding of all stages of alternative application development lifecycles both within and beyond own organisation  • Broad knowledge of business and operations and support functions  • Understanding of how IT is used within the logistics, transport and automotive industries 

Advantageous: 

• ITIL certification 

• Highly developed and advanced communication skills to facilitate workshops, solicit information (i.e. client needs), do presentations and influence clients and managers at all levels • Specialist visual charting skills • Well-developed Interpersonal skills to build relationships, influence a variety of stakeholders and resolve conflict • Advanced critical, conceptual and creative thinking & problem-solving skills to perform indepth analysis of business process and systems and design new solutions • Excellent mathematical reasoning, analytical, solutioning and problem-solving skills  • Strong computer, technology and systems skills
