Interior Designer

POSITION INFO:

Our client, a Western Cape based interior design, decor, and styling studio, is looking for an interior designer to join their dynamic team in Paarl.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Design:

• Space Planning and Documenting
• Tender information packs
• Council submission documents & drawings
• Construction drawing packs
• Project presentations
• Use of programmes including but not limited to CAD, Revit, 3D modelling, Photoshop, Indesign, Office, etc.

Project Administration:

• Obtaining quotes and invoices
• Compiling estimates and capturing tender information
• Coordinating suppliers and vendors
• Update project tracking & updating oooh team
• Ensuring timely installation of design solution & furniture according to project schedules
• Project and Product research
• Compiling project documents
• Follow up on orders
• Project timeline planning updates
• Orders
• Timesheets - Logging of time spent per project

REQUIREMENTS:

• Matric & Tertiary design qualification
• Previous experience in similar role at an interior design company
• Minimum 2 years’ experience
• Previous success in design office management
• Working knowledge of CAD, Revit, 3D modelling including SketchUp, Photoshop, Indesign, Office, etc.

• Strong organizational skills with firm attention to detail
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a deadline driven environment
• Ability to think and work creatively
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Self-starter and driven
• Able to work independently, accurately and check own work

SALARY:

R15 000 – R18 000 CTC
