SUMMARY:
An Integration Engineer position has just become available in our Client’s organisation in Ethiopia. The successful incumbent will be responsible for analysing, prepare, implement, execute test cases, and verify the configuration and integration of a node/network/system.

POSITION INFO:

The scope could cover the scenarios of new nodes/network/system, upgrades, expansion (functionality capacity) and migration.

Desired Experience and qualifications:

  • Academic degree, minimum on bachelor level, in engineering (IT, Telecom) OR
  • 1-2 years academic studies combined with at least 2 years of relevant professional experience.
  • Knowledge of SW Gateway and ELIS is Essential

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Analyse the existing network with regards to needs and possibilities for the customer
  • Analyse how planned implementation impacts existing network Propose features and solutions based on the Network Analysis Propose migration, test & acceptance strategy.
  • Support presales activities
  • Assist and advise clients with funeral arrangements.
  • Plan integration implementation
  • Estimate cost and time for the implementation and plan for the order of the activities needed.
  • Execute integration delivery.
  • Secure that templates and tools exist for the script collection and production, collect configuration data according to agreed templates and process.
  • Store configuration data on the node/OSS
  • Prepare integration testing.
  • Perform troubleshooting based on process review (inputs, actions and expected results) when an integration problem is presented.
  • Drive integration improvements, analyse processes, methods, and tools with regards to performance and quality Suggest, drive, and implement new ways of working.
