Integration Developer (Johannesburg)

POSITION INFO:

Responsibilities:

vStrong ability to provide written and/or verbal explanations on design and technical/functional solutions.

vWrite clean, scalable code using .NET and Java programming languages.

vDevelop new functionality using Azure Integration services for Server less Computing in Azure Integration Services like Logic Apps, Service Bus and Event Grid Azure Integration Services to connect cloud and on-premises applications through a unified set of cloud services with Azure API Management.

vBuild middleware services that facilitate integration between systems on premise.

vTest and deploy applications and systems.

vEnsure the best possible performance, quality and responsiveness of applications.

vMaintain clear communication with all stakeholders throughout project lifecycles.

vInvolved on multiple client projects, sometimes in parallel.

vTimely delivery and execution of assigned work.

vCollaborate with project teams made up of people with diverse and complementary skills.

vTeam player to ensure successful delivery of solutions.

vAdopt to new technologies at fast pace and apply them for solving business needs

Qualifications / Experience:

v3 – 10+ years Development Experience.

vExperience with Microsoft Azure.

vExperience with integration platforms.

vExperience with Azure DevOps, CI/CD.

vKnowledge and experience with integration with other systems and cloud structure.

vExperience with creating/maintaining and consuming RESTful API’s.

vMust have good knowledge of software programming concepts such Object-Oriented programming, Relational database design and agile methodology.

Preferred Skills:

vA solid understanding across the Azure platform (Compute, Data, PaaS)

vA strong understanding on Azure Integration Services (like API Management, Logic Apps, Azure Functions, Service Bus, Storage, Event Grid and App Services).

vProficient in Java, C# and/or .NET Core/Framework with a good knowledge of their ecosystems.

vStrong understanding of object-oriented programming.

vDemonstrated experience designing, creating, testing, and consuming REST APIs with a focus on flexibility, security and performance

vFamiliar with various design and architectural patterns.

vUnderstanding of fundamental design principles for building a scalable application.

vExperience in working with database schemas that represent and support business processes.

vProficient understanding of code versioning tools such as SVN and GIT.
