Join a large established organisation in Cape Town where you will be challenged in a role that allows you to develop your Integration skills.

You will work with the Integration Team in Functional & Non-Functional Requirements, System Design, Development, and configuration of integration services and components. As well as assisting in performing DevOps functions within Broadcom Layer7, IBM MQ, IBM Integration Broker, IBM WAS, and team utility applications.

Job Objectives     

• Perform day-to-day troubleshooting & support of integration systems
• Development of integration requirements to support business and internal projects
• Configure integration data flow  
• Troubleshooting and identifying root causes
• Collaborate with the Integration Support team to smoothly transition new flows and configurations into relevant environments for deployments.
• Improvement of systems and processes
• Transition basic day-to-day administration and support tasks 

Requirements

Essential

• 1-year min SQL competency writing queries and developing stored procedures
• 1-year min SOA (SOAP, REST, JSON, XML, ODATA, OAUTH, WADL, WSDL)
• 1-year min Java EE and Web Development – JavaScript
• 1-year min Performed support function
• 1-year min Software Design Patterns and Software development.
• Software Development
• Service-Oriented Architecture
• Production Systems Support (DevOps)
• Stress Management
• Conflict management skills
• Communication skills

Desirable

• 1-year min Working knowledge of Linux, Windows, and AIX Environments
• 1-year min Enterprise Integration Patterns and Cloud (AWS, Azure, Google)
• 1-year min Working knowledge of IBM WebSphere Integration Bus and MQ or other ESB and Message Queuing systems
