SUMMARY:
Integration Architect (fixed term contract 3-5 years)

POSITION INFO:

Qualification

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, or Information Systems, or Computer Engineering, or System Analysis or related field.

Requirements

• 7 - 10 years of experience in multiple Information Systems & Technology (IS & T) environment
• 2 - 4 years of relevant domain (data, network, application, systems) experience.

• Advanced to expert level knowledge and understanding of architecture, application design, system engineering and integration.
• Exposure to multiple, diverse technologies and processing environments.
• Working knowledge of ERP solution such as Oracle, SAP, Pastel, etc.

Duties

• Leading, coordinating and participating in strategy development including business innovation and participating in domain technical and business discussions.
• Aligning system architectural strategy with business requirements and goals.
• Analyzing, designing and developing roadmaps and implementing plans based on current versus future business processes from a cohesive architecture viewpoint.
• Communicating domain standards, guidelines and procedures.
• Promoting the Enterprise Architect process, outcomes and results to the organization and senior leadership.
• Designing standard configuration and patterns of the organization.
• Managing exceptions and making recommendations to architectural standard at an organizational level.
• Gathering, analyzing data and developing architectural requirements as needed.
• Aligning architectural requirements with IT strategy.
• Assessing term needs to establish organizational priorities.
• Supporting, contributing to and leading the development of software and data delivery with reusable components that can be orchestrated into different methods for the organization.
• Ensuring the conceptual completeness of the technical solution.
• Leading production in developing plans and assessing improvement options.
• Identifying and approving modification of the enterprise architecture to accommodate project needs.
• Performing ongoing quality management activities across the organization.
• Providing strategic consultation to clients and IT leaders.
• Advising on options, risks, costs versus benefits, system impacts, and technology priorities.
• Working with organizational management to understand business requirements and helping them to understand how technology trade-offs influence strategy.
• Keeping technology teams and management aware of key customer issues, identifying and resolving potential problems and conflicts.
