SUMMARY:
We are looking for a highly-analytical claims specialist to join our company’s insurance department based in Roodepoort, Johannesburg The chosen candidate will be professional, highly-analytical, and possess in-depth knowledge of the latest policies and regulations in the insurance industry

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Requirements:

  • Grade 12, Math essential
  • Degree with good academic record (Law degree would be beneficial)
  • MS Word and Outlook
  • Knowledge in Claims policies and Regulations in the insurance industry

 

Duties include but not limited to:

  • Administering of claims and opening of files
  • Day to day self-management of claims
  • Appointing assessor and authorising same
  • Directing claims input on systems
  • Ensure appropriate controls are in place for valid claims settlement
  • Managing repudiations, insuring fairness and diplomatic communication
  • Application of Policy terms and conditions
  • Ad Hoc Projects

 

Salary market related and will be discussed in the interview
