JOB DESCRIPTION:

Instrumentation Artisan Wanted

To maintain the safe operation of instrumentation installation to ensure the maximum and optimum availability of the production equipment; through effective fault-finding, optimisation and maintenance of the equipment at the lowest possible cost. Ensuring maximum and optimum availability of the production equipment.

Minimum Requirements
Qualifications:

  • Grade 12 with Maths and Science
  • N6 or S4 plus maintenance experience
  • Qualified instrumentation technician (trade tested)

Knowledge:

  • Knowledge of basic electrical and instrumentation principles
  • Knowledge of DCS, PLCs, Drives, RCA, ON-key

Experience:

  • Minimum of 3 years instrumentation experience in fault finding and installation
  • Experience in variable speed drives, DCS, PLCs, Instrumentation, Electrical installation
  • Experience in calibration of instrumentation
