Instrumentation Technician

SUMMARY:
Client in the Manufacturing Industry requires the services of an Instrumentation Technician at their plant in Gauteng as soon as possible

POSITION INFO:

Objective

Create and read logic and flow diagrams for program design, programming and commissioning

Create and read electrical schematics

Calibrate, troubleshoot, repair and replace process instrumentation

Maintain process instruments including valves, vibration monitors and other instruments

System monitoring, maintenance and troubelshooting operationla problems

Development of programs to suit processes

Configure other automated devices such as VFD''S for automoation and control

Training of technical personnel on PLC, VSD and Servo System

Provide Technical support in developing and improving processes

Mechanical and Electrical faultfinding and repair

Perform other duties as required

Skills and Qualifications:

Instrumentation Mechanician Trade Test or equivalent

5 years of mor experience in PLC Programming

Profficiency with multiple manufacturers automation hardware and software including but not limited to Allen Bradle

Experience in reading and modifying electrical control schematics

Knoweldge of Servo Motion Controls Systems and or robot motion control
