Installation Manager

SUMMARY:

We are looking for an Installation Manager to lead a team of talented installers.
As an Installation Manager, you will work as part of a dynamic and passionate team to maximize capacity, efficiency and profitability.  You will manage staff and exceed customer expectations by accomplishing the highest quality installations, every time.
By working closely with installation technicians, installation coordinators, warehouse/inventory manager, and the sales manager, you will complete jobs on time and within budget, helping achieve the company's financial goals.

POSITION INFO:

Duties include but not limited to:

• Ensure installation projects meet both customer expectations and design requirements.
• Exercise and enforce proper safety practices at all times.
• Work with project managers and customers to troubleshoot on site alterations to projects
• Communicate effectively with management regarding scheduling, and personnel management.
• Manage tools, equipment and personnel to ensure optimal performance.
• Accurately document material lists, project information and alterations
• Lead installation teams by example, including firsthand instruction and working side by side.
• Visiting customers nationally and being the main point of contact
• Show technicians how to establish customer rapport to ensure highest levels of satisfaction.
• Set expectations for each installation, including safety and code requirements.
• Ensure jobs are properly staged; coordinate and inspect equipment, plan and results.
• Monitor performance of installers and advise them on how to improve.
• Promote enthusiasm and brand loyalty during daily huddles, team meetings and 1:1''s.
• Adhere to the company''s plan for resolving customer complaints quickly and favorably.
• Analyze and control job expenses to meet budget.
• Meeting quality & service requirements Inc. deadlines being met
• Attracting, selecting and performance managing the Installation teams
• Manage all aspects of role related administration
• Recruiting sub-contract labour
• Becoming an advocate for the brand, leading from the front in terms of best practice and customer service
• Identifying team development needs and introducing appropriate interventions, networking with other managers within the business to do so
• Coordinating installations teams
• Leading & managing installation service
• Monitoring and driving high Customer Service standards through KPI delivery and site visits
• Continually ensuring health and safety is adhered to.

• Prior supervisory experience is a must in racking and shelving
• MHE and/or Construction experience required
• Relevant knowledge of warehousing/distribution, pallet rack design, material handling equipment etc.
• Ability to properly utilize a variety of tools and large equipment
• Current Drivers License and Clean Driving record
