Installation Electrician

SUMMARY:
Our client in the Engineering Industry has an opportunity available for an Installation Electrician, to be based in the Rosslyn, Pretoria area.

POSITION INFO:
Requirements:

• Trade tested qualification
• Wireman’s License
• Currently employed as an Electrician with a minimum of 3-5 years’ experience within the Automotive Industry / Sector with strong emphasis on Industrial Automation
• Valid Driver’s License – Code 08
• Must be willing to travel and work away from home
• Programmable logic controllers experience
• Variable speed devices AC/DC
• Electro and Analog detection systems
• Industrial motor control technology
• Electro detection systems
• Analog detection systems

• Read and interpret drawings and transmitting the information from the drawing to materials
• Advise supervisor of material requirements for the execution of work where necessary
• Automation control, knowledge, and application
• Interpret electrical drawings
• Fault finding and Panel building
• Understanding that work may be required on more than one site, hence travelling will be required to different regions
