Inside Sales Representative (Gauteng) (Jhb) (Remote)

POSITION INFO:

Requirements:

vNQF Level 4 qualification.
vMinimum 3 years’ experience in inside sales within cloud data backup technology solutions and services - Commvault/Veritas/Veeam/Azure or similar product sales experience essential.
vAble to generate own leads – must be able to use social media to create leads.
vCold calling track record with proven ability to meet sales targets.
vSecure work-from-home environment for remote working.
vProficient in Microsoft Office use (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and sales management/CRM software.
vValid SA ID.
vValid SA Driver’s license and own reliable transport.
vClear criminal background (checks will be conducted).

Responsibilities:

vCarry out cold-calling in order to create interest in products and services.
vGenerate new business leads and arrange meetings.
vMaintain a well-developed pipeline of prospects.
vSpeak to customers, either face to face or over the phone.
vIdentify appropriate prospects, set appointments, make effective qualifying sales calls, and manage sales cycles to close new business in all service categories offered.
vIdentify and develop new business through networking and follow-up courtesy calls.
vPrepare and deliver presentations and demonstrations of software to customers.
vMaintain awareness and keep abreast of constantly changing software and hardware systems and technologies applicable to data management and cloud backup.
vDevelop effective sales plans using our proven sales methodology.
vMeet weekly, monthly, and annual sales quotas through the successful implementation of sales and marketing strategies and tactics.
vNetwork with existing customers in order to maintain links and promote additional products and upgrades (upsell).
vRespond to tender documents, proposals, reports and supporting literature.
vManage workload in order to organise and prioritise daily and weekly goals.
vContribute to team or progress meetings to update and inform colleagues.
vCommunicate customer and prospect product pain points to appropriate departments
vProficiency with sales management software and CRM as well as Microsoft Office to be able to track all sales activities in the company CRM system and keep current by updating account information regularly.
