One of the worldâs leading independently owned family offices, and the largest in Europe, Middle East and Africa (EMEA), is looking for an Infrastructure Engineer to join their dynamic, growing team. The successful candidate will be based in lovely Cape Town (Waterfront Offices).

The company provides a range of services from long-term strategic planning and investments to day-to-day advice and administration to over 250 families.

Education:

Matric
Qualified to graduate level

Job Experience & Skills Required:

Participate to the deployment and maintenance of IT infrastructure
Assist and collaborate to the overall infrastructure and datacentre operations
Manage work and priorities through ticketing system and in coordination with the Head of Infrastructure
Work closely with other team members to achieve projects and address customer requests
Assist in any Infrastructure (Data Centre, Network and Security) related work, including monitoring
Troubleshoot systems to establish root cause analysis
Provide creative solutions to reoccurring problems and capacity demands
Design standard operation procedures and knowledge articles (KB) for Service Delivery and colleagues
Participate in the overall success of the infrastructure team and act as a key member of the team
Provide support and insights to colleagues, train junior members with a constructive attitude
Assist with common day to day administration of servers, storage, network, and security systems
Participate to out-of-business hours infrastructure maintenance and emergency support for critical

incidents
