Salary:

SUMMARY:
Infrastructure Specialist required for a permanent position in Glasgow.

POSITION INFO:

What''s the company like?

They''re a leading force in the automobile industry with a big presence in Scotland, with an excellent reputation across the industry. Based in Glasgow, they support sites across level clients across Scotland and Northern England.

They are currently going through a great period of growth and are looking for an Infrastructure Engineer with good experience of Office365, Networking and Hardware.

What will I be doing?

You will provide excellent service to a number of depots and will play a major part in the Change Management of new roll outs across the business. A large portion of the role will surround the "boots on the ground" support with backing from a Global IT team for major projects.

You will have a good understanding of the level of support required to around 300 staff (within your region) and this will be very much a "standalone" role.

What will I need?

** Strong understanding of Office365 including Teams
** Knowledge of LAN/WAN networking
** Comfortable with both remote and onsite support
** Management of applications across the estate including niche industry specific tech

** The ability to explain issues and fixes to non-technical staff; including training

We are looking for candidates with a strong technical background with the ability to communicate with users across all levels of the business; both technical and non-technical.

You will work closely with stakeholders and the wider business so there''s plenty of collaboration within the company.

Why?

You''ll get the opportunity to work within a highly technical environment with some of the most interesting project work you''re likely to come across. With a starting salary between £30k to £40k per year plus benefits.

There is an element of remote work just now but with a preference of working within the office (site visits are expected too, so a driving licence is required.)

What are the next steps?

The first stage is a Teams call with a member of the People team with the final interview being face to face within the office. This is an urgent position and we''re looking to arrange interviews ASAP.

If you want to join a unique company with a global scope, hit apply or give Michael Burrell at Cathcart Associates a call to discuss!
