Infrastructure Manager

Responsibility:
Formulate policies, procedures, and directives to govern the IT environment.
Develop and evolve IT Target Operating Model (Channels, Services, Enterprise Architecture, Information architecture, processes, structure) in line with business plans.
Ensure robust application, infrastructure, and network security with tight control over access management and effective tracking of change logs.
Establish and implement a disaster recovery.
Ensure IT environment has sufficient capacity in line with business forecasted requirements.
Lead the development of infrastructure strategy and architecture standards and procedures for the organization.
Responsible for managing overall IT day to day operations to improve infrastructure costs, performance and end user satisfaction.
Provide leadership in planning and managing computer operations and production support, systems and database administration and network operations.
Oversee data backup and system security operations (e.g. user authorization, firewalls)
Oversee installations, upgrades and configurations of hardware and software.
Ensure data is handled, transferred or processed according to legal and company guidelines.
Align to OEM recommendations, industry best practice and company's policies and processes. 
Monitoring and reporting on compliance with policies and the implementation of controls to support and enforce defined policies.

Qualifications:
Matric
B. Degree in IT related domain

Experience required:
10+ Years’ experience working in a complex infrastructure environment
Windows Deployment experience.
Experience of working in a best practice environment (ITIL), under strict change management processes.
Ability to understand log files and identify problems.
Able to work under pressure and to challenging timescales.
Able to isolate, take ownership of and resolve performance problems.
Able to provide technical expertise on varied projects, designing and implementing quality solutions to business challenges from customer requirements.
Ability to be self-sufficient and make independent decisions on problem resolution that align to departmental and functional strategy.
