A prominent IT solutions company is looking for an Infrastructure Manager.

POSITION INFO:
Their Focus:

Industrial Automation & Data Intelligence - Be a part of a company that builds platforms (like MESH and Pintl) that capture operational data across a business in near real-time and turn it into actionable insights.
Mining Analytics (Sens Mining) - Their Sens Mining product is tailored for mines.
Security & Risk Mitigation - They have security-oriented systems, such as geolocation-based alerts and automated video recording when trucks deviate from set routes.
Visual Communication & Training - Apart from automation, they also create 3D animations, video content, and visual tools for engineering, training, corporate reporting, and change management.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead and manage all systems and infrastructure across on-premises and cloud environments
Oversee the organisation’s network, server, storage, and virtualisation platforms
Implement, maintain, and monitor security measures, backups, and disaster recovery processes
Establish and uphold observability, ensuring optimal system performance and reliability
Enforce internal change-control procedures, including UAT approvals and controlled deployments
Ensure adherence to IT policies, standards, and software licensing requirements
Oversee power and facilities systems that support IT operations, including inverters, lithium battery storage, and related infrastructure
Manage vendor and third-party relationships, including monitoring SLA compliance
Provide senior technical escalation support for high-priority and critical incidents

Job Experience and Skills Required:

Extensive experience in systems infrastructure administration across Windows Server, Linux, and VMware environments
Proficient in network administration, including VLAN configuration, firewalls, VPNs, and routing
Skilled in infrastructure performance monitoring, diagnostics, and root-cause analysis
Strong understanding of electrical infrastructure, including inverters and battery storage systems
Solid expertise in Active Directory and Group policy management
Competent in SQL database administration
Experienced in producing technical documentation and interpreting system architecture designs
