SUMMARY:
Infrastructure Engineer required to join one of the UK's largest timber companies, based in Fife.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Infrastructure Engineer required to join one of the UK's largest timber companies, based in Fife.

They are a family run company originally from fife and have successfully grown to be one of the largest timber companies in the UK with sites all over. They are continuously expanding and growing through the latest industry technology and are looking for an Infrastructure Engineer to help lead technical projects and drive the business forward.

You will join a small team of Engineers, getting hands on, leading and managing any projects across Infrastructure. You will work closely with 3rd party suppliers assisting in the delivery of Support and Data Security solutions. You will act as an escalation point for infrastructure support and be responsible for building the infrastructure roadmap to support the growing business and IT functions. You will be a solution focused, enthusiastic Engineer to drive innovative use of technology throughout the business.

You will have the following Skills/Experience: -

** Strong experience in a similar position; managing infrastructure delivery projects

** Knowledge and experience working with VMware/Hyper-V

** Strong knowledge and experience of network fundamentals; Switches, Routers, Security

** An understanding of Scripting Languages - PowerShell/VBScript

** Experience managing and administering O365

** Knowledge and experience configuring IP telephony and Endpoint Security Management

Beneficial but not essential: -

** Cloud experience with Azure or AWS

** Experience working in an ITIL Framework

** Experience supporting VDI Solutions - (Citrix, RDS etc)

Depending on the projects you have on, you may need to travel to other sites, so a Full UK License is essential. The salary on offer is circa £50,000 along with a hybrid work model (on site at least 3 days a week) and a benefits package including - 30 days holiday (including bank holidays), bonus scheme, pension, training budgets, well-being groups and more.
