Industry Association Administrator (JB2426)Modderfontein, JohannesburgR20 000 per month, total cost to companyDuration: PermanentApplication closing date: 30 November 2022An Industry Association is currently sourcing an Administrator to join them in a hybrid capacity (mainly remote) from January/February 2023. This role would report into the General Secretary of the Association and the successful individual will be required to run the function autonomously and should therefore be self-motivated.Previous experience in the gas sector or an Industry Association is preferred. Minimum Requirements:Minimum of three years administrative experienceExcellent knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPointStrong communication skills both verbally and writtenOwn vehicle and valid driver’s licenseDuties and Responsibilities:Support the General Secretary in Managing the day-to-day office functions to ensure a professional, smooth operation to all our Stakeholders by:Answering incoming calls and providing information where possible.Taking and passing on messages.Manage incoming and outgoing post.Typing minutes of meetings and general communication.Filing and general administration of documents.Maintaining accurate records of members including subscription status.Collate Membership packages and forwarding to new/potential members.Purchase and keep records of office supplies.Prepare Financial Statements for the Board Meetings.Liaise with the Web Master to ensure the Website is keep up to date by:Reviewing website to ensure it is maintained and kept up to dateCollating information for website updateManage the Practitioner programme by:Liaise with applicants for new registrationMaintain ongoing support with Registered PractitionersEnsure all new Applicants and re-registrations are properly completed and processed according to ProceduresAssist the General Secretary in organising Working group Meetings to ensure objectives and deadlines are met by:Liaising with Working Group Chairperson/s and establishing working group meetingsOrganising venue and provide support to the WG ChairpersonsAssist in preparing WG meeting minutes and the circulation of minutesMaintain Working Group control documentsAssist the General Secretary in organising Training Courses to ensure the stated objectives are met by:Sending out training course communications to potential delegates, etc.Establishing training venues and associated infrastructure.Manage training applications, delegate communications, delegate payments, payment to service providers, delegate certificates, etc.
