JOB DESCRIPTION:

Our client, a Paarl based manufacturing company of plastic products, is looking to employ an Industrial Sales Rep.  They pride themselves on their commitment to technical innovation, quality products and customer service. We are looking to employ a Sales Representative in the manufacturing of plastic products.

 

KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS

  • Calling on existing and new customer base
  • Develop New Markets / Products
  • Attend to customers in a professional and helpful manner
  • Finding new leads and new customers
  • Generate monthly sales reports
  • Formulation of sales budgets with the assistance of Sales Manager
  • Communication of potential customers to Management
  • Administrative and operational support as required
  • Travel when necessary

 
REQUIREMENTS

  • Grade 12
  • Further qualification in Sales & Marketing will be advantageous.
  • Technical know-how of plastic injection moulding & extrusion manufacturing processes.
  • Minimum of 2-3 years in a sales environment (plastic polymer / plastic manufacturing environment advantageous).
  • Proven sales experience (plastics industry specific).
  • Solid business acumen including excellent verbal, written and persuasive business communication.
  • Must possess a drive to achieve targets and goals set by the company and have the ability to self-motivate.
  • Computer literate
  • Valid Driver’s License

 

SALARY

R15 000 - R25 000 CTC (negotiable depending on qualification and experience)
