POSITION INFO:

Industrial Estimator -  KZN - R20,000 - R25,000 CTC

Responsible to plan and execute estimating in the Industrial Division, with a specific focus on mechanical and a fair knowledge of fabrication.

Requirements:
Industrial Estimating a Must
Quantity Surveyor/Mechanical Engineering qualification, Advantage
Must be able to work under pressure to meet deadlines
Ability to work independently
Advanced Spreadsheet skills

Duties include, but are not limited to:
Interpretation of customers’ requirements, terms & conditions, and specifications
Preparation of tender- and related documents
Follow up on quotations submitted and provide feedback on customer comments
Estimate labour, materials and other resource requirements
General administrative estimating duties
