SUMMARY:
Our client in the manufacturing industry in Alberton is seeking an Industrial Engineer to lay down SOP standards and procedures to enhance production processes, uptime and efficiency.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Job Title: Industrial Engineer
Geographical area: Alberton, Gauteng
Salary range: R 35 000.00 CTC pm

The successful incumbent will be responsible for:

Evaluate current manufacturing practices and identify those needing improvement.
Manage production schedules and coordinate services to maximize productivity.
Enforce quality control to reduce waste
Improve the efficiency of each production process.
Evaluate employee’s tasks and responsibilities, identifying procedures or tools to improve productivity.
Able to use both basic and advanced calculations to determine the current and potential productivity of a process.

Minimum qualifications and experience:

Grade 12 / Equivalent
Bachelor’s degree
A minimum of 5 years’ experience as an Industrial Engineer in the Manufacturing / Engineering environment
Sober habits
Computer literate – advanced skilled on Excel
