SUMMARY:
Our client in the manufacturing industry in Alberton is seeking an Industrial Engineer to lay down SOP standards and procedures to enhance production processes, uptime and efficiency.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Job Title: Industrial Engineer     
Geographical area: Alberton, Gauteng          
Salary range: R 35 000.00 CTC pm
 
The successful incumbent will be responsible for:
  • Evaluate current manufacturing practices and identify those needing improvement.
  • Manage production schedules and coordinate services to maximize productivity.
  • Enforce quality control to reduce waste
  • Improve the efficiency of each production process.
  • Evaluate employee’s tasks and responsibilities, identifying procedures or tools to improve productivity.
  • Able to use both basic and advanced calculations to determine the current and potential productivity of a process.
 
Minimum qualifications and experience:
  • Grade 12 / Equivalent
  • Bachelor’s degree
  • A minimum of 5 years’ experience as an Industrial Engineer in the Manufacturing / Engineering environment
  • Sober habits
  • Computer literate – advanced skilled on Excel
