Industrial Engineer

SUMMARY:
Seeking young, robust, and vivacious Industrial Engineer for an excellent manufacturing company in Krugersdorp. Must be hungry for success, this is a 12 month FTC. Must have machine operating knowledge and experience, having been in a Supervisory role will be an advantage. Looking for the best of the best here!

POSITION INFO:

The client is a leader in the manufacturing environment and seeking well rounded, experienced, and vivacious Industrial Engineer for a very fast-paced manufacturing company in Krugersdorp.  This is a 12 month FTC for young Graduates (B.Eng), who has work experience and has been in a supervisory role before.  

Incumbents will work closely with the Senior Team and will develop an in-depth understanding and knowledge of the chosen discipline as the company gives them access to explore and understand various aspects of the manufacturing operation.

Incumbents will have access to an active support network of line managers, and factory managers.

Qualifications / Requirements:

• Individual needs to be pro-active, hardworking, detail and solutions orientated, with good communication skills.
• Must have excellent knowledge and experience in working with machinery.
• Duties will include process flow, factory layouts, time studies, six sigma, and all functions, relating to Industrial Engineering
• Be a South African Citizen
• Be able to speak, read and write in English
• Will be responsible for technical and system functions within the manufacturing/production division
• In-depth knowledge of Excel i.e. pivot tables graphs, formulas, designs, etc.
• Flexible to work in a shifting environment
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to converse on all levels
