Our client based in Elandsfontein is looking for an Industrial Charging Assistant

POSITION INFO:

Qualification

• Windows 10, Microsoft Outlook, Microsoft Excel
• Reading BMS data via USB – RS232/RS485 comms cable and uploading to PC, doing screen clips and saving data.
• Analysis and mark-up of Excel data for BMS alarms and protection events

 

Responsibilities

• Tradesman assistant with experience in battery charging, battery testing, battery chargers and solar inverters
• Experience in battery charger set-up and lead acid battery connection in series and/or parallel for 12V, 24V, 36V, 48V up to 240 V battery banks for charging
• Monitoring and recording of battery charging currents and voltages and charge history record keeping
• Experience in capacity discharge testing of lead acid batteries
• Experience or proven capability of handling telco/solar rack mounted lithium battery packs with internal BMS installation, parallel connections and battery charger (or solar inverter) set-up and operation for charging of lithium batteries.
• Capacity discharge testing of lithium battery packs with internal BMS
• BLT 160 charger/tester experience
• Orizen 80V battery charger experience
