Independent Member of - Board of Directors

Minimum Requirements

• Commercial qualification
• Board Committee experience at JSE listed companies
• Operational, Financial, General management and/or Business management experience
• Minimum of 5 years Board experience
• Prior Chairmanship of Board Committees will be a must
• Knowledge and Experience:
• Knowledge of corporate governance and of director’s responsibilities/fiduciary duties
• Legal, financial and risk management acumen and the intellectual rigour to understand complex issues quickly
• Understanding of business generally and an appreciation of broad economic, commercial and financial trends
• An understanding of the impact of the environment, industry practices, legislation and other regulatory frameworks on the performance of an enterprise
• Strong leadership expertise and ability to inspire colleagues

• Pharmaceutical and/or consumer products or FMCG and/or medical expertise would be advantageous.
